OSZS Tedlar PVF Gas Sampling Bag w/Side-opening stopcock valve & septum fitting 1L capacity, 7*8 inch 10-PK.
The Tedlar PVF gas sampling bag is made from polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film produced by DuPont in the United States. The film has a thickness of 2 mil, approximately 0.05 mm.
Tedlar film exhibits excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and low adsorption of organic solvents. The water vapor transmission rate is 13 g/m².24h at 0.1 MPa, and the oxygen transmission rate is 114 cc/m².24h at 0.1 MPa (these values are measured but not guaranteed). Tedlar gas sampling bags can be used for high-precision ppm-level sampling and are suitable for collecting and preserving various corrosive gaseous and liquid samples. The heat resistance of Tedlar gas sampling bags ranges from 150°C to 170°C.
Sampling bags are a cost-effective whole-air sampling solution for high-level VOCs and permanent gases. Bags made from Tedlar® film offer good stability with VOCs and are recommended in many US EPA methods, including TCLP and methods TO-3 (VOCs), TO-12 (NMOC), TO-14A (VOCs), TO-15 (VOCs), ASTM D-5504 (reduced sulfur compounds), and various atmospheric gas methods.
They are suitable for pollution detection in products like automobile engines, auto parts, household goods, and more.
As the industry standard, Tedlar sampling bags provide a reusable storage medium with excellent retention for most substances.
Our gas sampling bag valves and seam-sealing process ensure that these bags are durable and virtually leak-proof, even under the most demanding sampling and shipping conditions.
Standard sizes for the Tedlar PVF gas sampling bags range from 0.5L to 6000L, with custom sizes and configurations available upon request.
The OSZS side-opening stopcock valve on the Tedlar PVF Gas Sampling Bag features inlets and outlets that are parallel to the film plane, with an external sampling tube having an outer diameter of 6.3 mm.
The valve includes a sampling cap with a silicone rubber septum, which is isolated from the gas inside the sampling bag by the valve mechanism. The silicone septum is exposed to the gas-only when the valve is in the open position. To extract a gas sample using a sampling needle, rotate the valve handle to align it with the sampling cap, allowing the gas inside the bag to come into contact with the silicone septum. Once sampling is complete, rotate the valve handle 90 degrees to close the valve, thus isolating the gas inside the bag from the septum.
This design ensures that the silicone rubber septum does not remain in extended contact with the gas, thereby mitigating the risk of septum corrosion or sample contamination.
