OSZS New Devex Multi-layer gas sampling bag w/Dual PTFE straight-through valve & septum fitting, 7*8 inch 10-PK.
OSZS New Devex Film is a specialized membrane developed by our company for use in sampling bags. Tailored to meet specific customer needs, this film is created in collaboration with several specialized companies using internationally advanced film-making technologies. With a thickness of approximately 75µm, it is thinner than aluminum-plastic composite films, yet offers significantly better elasticity, preventing issues of hardening and brittleness in cold conditions. Most importantly, the New Devex Film has a low background, resulting in minimal contamination of gas samples, thus satisfying high customer standards for sampling bags. Compared to aluminum-plastic composite films, New Devex Film boasts advantages such as lower background, reduced contamination of filled gas samples, superior elasticity, affordability, and high cost-effectiveness. Testing by authoritative institutions shows that the performance of New Devex Film greatly exceeds that of aluminum-plastic composite films, making it the ideal specialized membrane for gas sampling bags, widely adopted by customers and currently the most cost-effective option worldwide.
Standard aluminum-plastic composite films are made from solvent-based adhesives that release a significant amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), undoubtedly contaminating gas samples. In contrast, the inner layer of New Devex Film uses eco-friendly adhesives, resulting in low VOC emissions that prevent contamination of gas samples and avoid interference with analytical data. The residual organic solvent content in New Devex Film is between 0.1mg and 0.3mg/m², which is only 5% of that found in aluminum-plastic composite films, making it a high-performance replacement.
Applications of New Devex Gas Sampling Bags:
Suitable for stable, low-reactivity gases such as petrochemical cracking gas, natural gas, coalbed gas, flue gas, ambient air, and process reaction gases, widely used in petrochemicals and environmental monitoring for gas sample collection and preservation. These bags ensure stable low concentrations (ppm levels) for 1 to 3 months.
Applicable for the collection and detection of total non-methane hydrocarbons.
Can hold low concentrations of industrial gases such as hydrogen (H2), oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2), argon (Ar), methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), and carbon dioxide (CO2).
Not recommended for highly reactive, corrosive, or oxidizing gases such as nitrogen oxides, strong alkaline gases, and halogen gases; also not advisable for very low concentrations like ppb levels.
Suitable for light-sensitive gas sampling that requires protection from light.
Standard sizes for the Aluminum-Foil (Multi-Layer) Gas Sampling Bags range from 0.5L to 6000L, with custom sizes and configurations available upon request.
The OSZS PTFE inline valve is constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), featuring a self-sealing design that ensures a secure seal without any rubber components coming into contact with the gas inside the bag, thereby preventing contamination of the gas sample.
The gas inlet tube of the PTFE inline valve is oriented perpendicular to the membrane of the gas sampling bag, with an outer diameter of 6 mm. To open the valve, rotate the handle so that it is perpendicular to the membrane plane; rotate it 90 degrees to make the handle parallel to the membrane plane to close the valve.
The PTFE inline valve is designed for ease and speed of operation while providing a reliable seal. The upper end of the gas inlet tube can accommodate a sampling cap fitted with a silicone pad for needle sampling. The tube is versatile, suitable for filling, emptying, and vacuuming operations. It is ideal for handling inorganic or organic gases that do not corrode PTFE.
Since the gas sample inside the bag does not come into contact with the silicone rubber pad, there is no risk of contamination, making the PTFE inline valve interface highly suitable for the collection and preservation of low-concentration gas samples requiring high analytical accuracy.
